Fallbrook man sentenced in child porn case

UNION-TRIBUNE BREAKING NEWS TEAM

3:28 p.m. October 3, 2008

SAN DIEGO – A Fallbrook man who admitted to having computer images of 4-year-old children being used in sexual acts was sentenced Friday to four years in federal prison.

Harry Rodriguez, 30, also was sentenced to 10 years of supervised released by U.S. District Court Judge Janis L. Sammartino in San Diego.

Rodriguez, who worked as an auto mechanic in Temecula, pleaded guilty in April to one count of possession of child pornography. He admitted having a computer containing between 150 and 300 images of child porn, some of them involving children as young as age 4.

His arrest was part of a nationwide investigation conduct by the FBI with assistance from a San Diego task force on Internet crimes against children.
