VISTA – Sheriff's investigators released a sketch Friday of an armed man who victims said impersonated a law enforcement officer when he forced his way into a home, handcuffed two people and sprayed one of them with Mace. Just after 9 p.m., the man knocked on the door at the home on Vista Glen Lane near Eucalyptus Avenue, a spokesman with the Sheriff's Department said. A 22-year-old man answered the door and the man burst in yelling “Search warrant! Search warrant! Get on the ground!” the spokesman said.

The intruder pointed a gun at the man and another person in the home, the spokesman said. The victims were then forced to the floor and restrained, and one of them was sprayed in the eyes with an aerosol spray, the spokesman said.
The man pretended to talk into a radio of some sort, although he didn't appear to have one. He was wearing a dark law enforcement or military type vest with no markings. It also had several pockets, including a holster, a Mace holder and a handcuff case.
He was described as Samoan, Asian or possibly Latino, in his early 20s, about 5 feet 8 inches tall and 180 pounds. He had a shaved head and was very muscular with large biceps, a round face and a short neck.
Besides the vest, he was last seen wearing a short-sleeved white polo shirt with an emblem of a yellow star with ropes around it, dark pants and black boots or tennis shoes. He was armed with a silver or black handgun, similar to a 9mm Beretta.
The victims told deputies the man appeared very nervous and he left behind the handcuffs and a zip tie.
The victims said he did not take anything and they did not see a vehicle.
Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at (888) 580-8477.
