SAN MARCOS: The city's annual arts festival, with art demonstrations, vendor booths and performances by local schools and music groups, will be held Sunday.

The outdoor fair, called San Marcos Alive, will be at the Civic Center and on San Marcos Boulevard between Mission Road and Rancheros Drive from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Artwork from local students and adults will be on display. Prizes will be awarded to the winners at a reception Sunday.
