SAN MARCOS: The latest group hike offered by the city of San Marcos will explore the trails north and west of San Elijo Park tomorrow.

Included is an overlook view of Lake San Marcos. The free hike will be moderately difficult. Be prepared to walk about five miles. Walkers will be meeting at 9 a.m. at San Elijo Park, 1105 Elfin Forest Road.

Hikers should bring water and snacks. Minors must be accompanied by adults. Dogs on leashes are welcome. –L.L.
